By accessing or using Offerable you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, and that you are 18 years of age or older. A confirmation gate is presented at the start of each browser session requiring explicit acceptance before accessing the tool. If you do not agree to these terms or do not meet the age requirement, do not use this service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Offerable ("we," "us," "our"). By using offerable.app (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Important notices below — please read carefully: Section 13 contains a binding individual arbitration agreement and class-action waiver. Section 11 limits our liability. Section 1 confirms the Service is offered only in the United States and only to users 13 and older.
1. US-only, age 13+
The Service is intended only for residents of the United States. We do not represent that the Service is appropriate or available for use outside the United States. You are solely responsible for compliance with local laws if you access from elsewhere. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission and supervision.
2. Informational tool only — not advice
Offerable is an informational planning tool. It does not calculate taxes, after-tax compensation, investment returns, or any personalized financial outcome. It is not financial, tax, legal, investment, or career advice, and it is not a recommendation to accept or reject any offer. Output is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. We make no guarantees about outcomes you may achieve. Compensation benchmark data shown in the product is sourced from U.S. government public records including the Department of Labor H1B Salary Disclosure database and the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics program. This data is provided as indicative market context only and does not reflect real offers or any communication from named employers. All offer input fields are blank on arrival and populated solely by the user — Offerable does not pre-populate, suggest, or store offer data on behalf of any named employer.
3. Benchmark data
Compensation benchmarks are sourced from U.S. Department of Labor H1B Salary Disclosure data (flcdatacenter.com) and Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics data (bls.gov/oes), both fully public government datasets. WARN Act layoff signals are sourced from U.S. Department of Labor and state labor agency public filings and are currently being integrated — this feature will display live data once the integration is complete. All data is aggregated on a best-effort basis, refreshed on a scheduled cycle, and shown as indicative snapshots that may be incomplete or outdated. Data freshness timestamps are displayed within the product where available. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Levels.FYI, RepVue, Blind, or any other third-party compensation platform. Always verify compensation and layoff information with primary sources before making any employment decision.
4. AI Coach
The AI Negotiation Coach generates suggestions using a large language model and is clearly labeled as AI-generated. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Review every suggestion before use and verify against qualified professional advice. AI Coach conversation history is stored in your browser only and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. You may delete your chat history at any time using the Delete Chat function within the AI Coach interface. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
When you use the AI Negotiation Coach, your conversation including any offer details you share is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing. This transmission is necessary for the coach to function. Offerable does not store your AI Coach conversation on its servers. The AI provider processes your data under their own privacy policy. Do not share information you wish to keep entirely private. By using the AI Negotiation Coach you consent to this data transmission.
At the start of every AI Coach session the coach proactively identifies itself as an AI assistant and not a human, attorney, or financial advisor. This disclosure is displayed before the user can send any message in each session. By using the AI Negotiation Coach you acknowledge you are interacting with an artificial intelligence system and not a human advisor of any kind.
The AI Negotiation Coach generates original negotiation guidance tailored to your specific offer details. It will not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted text including published negotiation scripts, book excerpts, or proprietary compensation frameworks. All negotiation language and strategy generated by the coach is original content. Requests to reproduce copyrighted material are refused and logged as security events.
Offerable conducts periodic bias testing to identify and mitigate unintended demographic bias in AI Coach responses. The coach is designed to provide consistent, objective guidance regardless of user demographics. If you believe you have received advice that reflects bias based on a protected characteristic, please contact us via the contact form.
The AI Negotiation Coach will not retrieve, describe, or facilitate access to LinkedIn profiles, social media accounts, contact information, or any other personal profile data for any named individual including recruiters, hiring managers, or any other party in a hiring process regardless of whether such information is publicly available. The coach will not retrieve social media handles or account information for companies. General guidance on where to conduct company research is within scope — specific profile links, account names, or personal contact details are not.
The AI Negotiation Coach is designed to recognize and redirect questions involving U.S. employment law including pay equity and discrimination (Title VII, Equal Pay Act, ADA, ADEA, FMLA), salary history ban compliance, non-compete and restrictive covenant obligations, equity securities law and tax strategy (insider trading, Section 83(b) elections, ISO AMT), immigration and visa work authorization terms, whistleblower and retaliation protections (SOX, Dodd-Frank), NDA and confidentiality obligations, offer rescission and at-will employment risk, ERISA-regulated benefits (retirement plans, COBRA, pensions), and equity management on behalf of minors. In all such cases the coach redirects to qualified legal or professional resources and does not provide legal advice. Users with questions in any of these areas should consult an employment attorney, tax attorney, immigration attorney, or appropriate specialist.
The AI Negotiation Coach does not provide medical advice, health recommendations, mental health treatment guidance, therapy recommendations, or psychiatric advice. If you have questions about how a medical or mental health condition might affect your work or job fit, please consult your healthcare provider or a mental health professional. The coach can help you compare factual health insurance plan features and mental health coverage between offers — such as deductibles, coverage networks, therapy session limits, and EAP programs — but cannot advise you on which plan or job environment is best for your specific medical or mental health situation. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 or call 911.
5. Guest sessions and data
Free tier is usable as a guest, with no account required. All offer input fields are blank on arrival — Offerable never pre-populates fields with example data, named companies, or illustrative figures. Your inputs are stored in your browser only and are never transmitted to our servers. Clearing cookies, switching browsers, closing the browser, or session expiration may erase unsaved work. We do not promise permanent storage of guest data. Use the "Clear my data" link to delete your browser-stored data at any time. Your display preference (light or dark mode) is also stored in your browser's localStorage and persists across sessions. This preference is not linked to any account or personal identifier.
6. Accounts and paid tiers
Paid tiers (Standard, Pro) require an email and acceptance of these Terms at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for safeguarding access to your account.
7. Pricing, billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation
| Plan | Monthly | One-time (30-day access) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $19.00/month | $24.00 |
| Pro | $39.00/month | $49.00 |
- Pricing & taxes: all prices are in USD. Where required, applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated at checkout and added to your total. Prices are subject to change with 30-days notice in writing.
- Payment processor: payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to the applicable pricing, billing, refund, and cancellation terms.
- Auto-renewal: monthly plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
- Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from the billing portal linked in your receipt or via our contact form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancelling is at least as easy as subscribing, consistent with the FTC Negative Option Rule and California ARL.

- Receipts: we email a receipt after each charge with the amount, renewal date, and cancellation link.
8. Refunds
14-day refund on any plan, any reason. Submit a request via our contact form and we will issue a full refund.
9. Acceptable use
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated extraction of data from the Service.
- Note: Offerable uses automated data collection from publicly available U.S. government sources only (DOL, BLS, state labor agencies) to populate benchmark and layoff signal data within the product. This automated collection is limited exclusively to public government records and does not extend to any private platform. No unlawful, infringing, or harmful use.
- No reselling the Service or its data without written permission.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to request personal profile information, social media accounts, contact details, or any other identifying information about named individuals including recruiters, hiring managers, or any other party in a hiring process.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to request reproduction of copyrighted text, published negotiation scripts, or proprietary compensation frameworks.
- Users must not attempt to manipulate the AI Coach into providing different advice based on stated demographic characteristics for the purpose of testing or exploiting potential bias.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to solicit advice on offering or accepting bribes, kickbacks, or improper inducements in any hiring process.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to construct false statements, fabricate compensation data, misrepresent competing offer terms, or deceive any party in a hiring or negotiation process.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to solicit political opinions, political advocacy, religious guidance, or religious commentary unrelated to factual offer evaluation.
- Users must not use the AI Negotiation Coach to request medical advice, health recommendations, mental health treatment guidance, therapy recommendations, psychiatric advice, or any guidance on managing medical or mental health conditions in the context of job decisions.
- Users must not ask the coach to evaluate which offer is best based on medical or mental health considerations.
- Users may ask for factual comparisons of health insurance plan features and mental health coverage between offers only. All medical and mental health advice requests are logged as security events.
- All of the above are logged as security events and may result in immediate permanent restriction of AI Coach access without notice or refund.
- Suspected legitimate bias in AI Coach responses should be reported via the contact form rather than through repeated manipulation attempts.
10. Intellectual property
We own the Service and all related IP. You retain rights to inputs you provide. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate and deliver the Service to you. We may use aggregated, de-identified data — never individual offer details — to improve benchmark quality. We do not train AI models on your personal inputs. CSV and PDF exports are generated entirely within your browser and your offer data is never transmitted to our servers during export.
10a. Export features
Pro tier users may export offer comparison data as CSV or PDF files. Both export formats are generated entirely client-side within your browser. No offer data, compensation details, or personally identifiable information is transmitted to our servers, any third-party service, or any analytics platform during the export process. Exported files are downloaded directly to your device. You are solely responsible for the security of exported files once downloaded. We recommend storing exported files securely and deleting them when no longer needed.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT BENCHMARKS, AI OUTPUT, OR ANY OTHER CONTENT IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE.
Hate speech detection. All incoming messages are scanned for content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics including race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or age. Detected content is flagged and redacted before processing. Hate speech detection events are logged as "hate speech detected" with session timestamp and IP address only. No flagged content is logged.
Encrypted data transmission. All data transmitted between your browser and Offerable's service infrastructure is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data processed by the AI provider is configured for minimal retention under the provider's data handling policies where zero retention settings are technically available.
Copyright protection. The AI Coach is instructed to generate only original content and to decline requests to reproduce copyrighted material. Copyright reproduction attempts are logged as security events.
Public profile protection. The AI Coach will not retrieve or describe personal profile information, social media accounts, or contact details for any named individual or company regardless of public availability. Public profile requests are logged as security events.
U.S. employment law redirection. The AI Coach recognizes questions involving U.S. employment law across twelve defined categories and redirects to qualified professional resources in all such cases. Employment law redirection events are logged by subsection with session timestamp and IP only.
Bias mitigation. Offerable conducts periodic bias testing of AI Coach responses across demographic framings. Results are documented and used to improve coach consistency. Bias concerns may be reported via the contact form.
Incident response. High-severity security events including crisis signals, dangerous content attempts, bribery attempts, and hate speech detections trigger immediate administrator notification containing event type, timestamp, and IP address only. No message content is included in any administrator notification. Administrators review high-severity events within 24 hours of detection.
General fallback. When the AI Coach encounters a situation too complex or ambiguous to address reliably it redirects to qualified professional resources rather than providing an unreliable response. General fallback events are logged.
T&C acceptance gate. A confirmation gate is presented at the start of each browser session requiring the user to confirm acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and confirm they are 18 years of age or older before accessing any part of the tool. Acceptance is stored in session memory only and is not transmitted to any server.
Medical and mental health advice prevention. The AI Coach recognizes requests for medical advice, health recommendations, mental health treatment guidance, and psychiatric advice and redirects to appropriate qualified professionals in all cases. Factual comparisons of health insurance plan features and mental health coverage between offers are within scope — treatment recommendations are not. Medical and mental health advice redirection events are logged as "medical or mental health advice request redirected" with session timestamp and IP address only.
Security event types logged. Logged event types include: employment law redirection fired, public profile or social account request redirected, hate speech detected, copyright reproduction attempt detected, general fallback fired, T&C gate acceptance recorded, bias test event recorded, crisis signal detected, dangerous content attempt detected, bribery or corrupt inducement attempt detected, sensitive data redacted, output PII redacted, prompt injection attempt detected, bot traffic flag triggered, and medical or mental health advice request redirected. All entries contain event type, timestamp, and IP address only — never message content.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
13. Binding arbitration and class-action waiver
Read this carefully — it affects your legal rights. You and Offerable agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, in New York County, New York (or by video conference at your election). Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver: You and Offerable agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. If this waiver is held unenforceable, the entire Section 13 is void.
30-day right to opt out: you may opt out of arbitration by submitting our contact form within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, email, and that you opt out of arbitration. Small-claims court actions are permitted.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 13, the exclusive venue for any non-arbitrable dispute is the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or abusive behavior. You can stop using the Service at any time.
Scoring Methodology & Cited Sources
Offerable ranks job offers using a transparent weighted scoring model. Users assign importance weights to the 10 Attributes, and each offer is scored against those same attributes so the app can calculate a final match percentage and rank offers from best to worst.
For each comparison, we first normalize the user's importance sliders into weights that sum to 1.0. We then score each offer on each attribute, normalize those scores onto a common scale, and compute a weighted sum so the attributes the user cares about most have the greatest impact on the final result.
The platform also uses compensation inputs, company inputs, and offer-specific context to inform attribute scoring, especially for Financial Upside, Stability, Growth, and Role Quality. This follows the same basic structure used in job-offer evaluation worksheets and weighted comparison tools: rate importance, rate each offer, multiply, and total.
If an offer fails a hard constraint, such as a minimum salary or required location preference, Offerable can flag it clearly or reduce its score. This helps users separate true deal-breakers from softer preferences while still preserving a single comparable ranking.
Offerable is designed to be decision support, not a replacement for judgment. The score shows how well an offer fits the user's stated priorities, but users should still consider personal context, negotiation leverage, and any information not captured in the inputs. Offerable does not guarantee that any particular offer is the "best" choice.

17. Bias Testing and Mitigation
Offerable conducts bias testing of AI Coach responses across demographic framings prior to launch and on a quarterly basis thereafter. Testing methodology includes framing identical offer scenarios with different stated demographics (gender, age, race, national origin) and comparing coach responses for substantive differences.
A bias testing report documenting methodology, findings, and results is maintained by Offerable. Testing to date has found no material bias in coach recommendations, leverage assessment, or market analysis across demographic framings.
Bias testing results are available upon request. If you believe you have received biased advice please report it via our contact form.
